2019 Nissan TITAN Review
When you’re searching for a truck that can guide you through your day, it’s worth your time to turn your attention to the 2019 Nissan TITAN. Whether at the workplace or at home, the TITAN is a truck that’s capable of providing exactly what Warwick, Providence, and Coventry drivers strive for.
It’s dependable, can handle the heavy lifting, and comfortable, too. In this space, the sales team at Speedcraft Nissan is taking a closer look at this truck and everything it brings to the table.
Nissan TITAN Performance
Built on its fully-boxed ladder frame, this truck is reinforced in certain areas to ensure it can fight back against torsional twist. The reinforced suspension and 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes ensure large loads can be handled without issue, with the V8 engine delivering the power you’re looking for.
The Nissan TITAN Endurance® V8 engine is a 5.6L engine, making 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. This is the kind of power drivers will be able to feel even if there’s no trailer attached. Mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, this engine can deliver outstanding performance and efficiency.
Perhaps most importantly, the TITAN can be brought to a stop with the large 13.8-inch front/13.6-inch rear, 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes. Even if you’re carrying a trailer behind you, these brakes will act quickly to bring the truck to a complete, safe stop.
Nissan TITAN Towing Capability
With the innovative technology you’ll find in the Nissan TITAN, towing is no longer a 2-man job. It’s streamlined to hook things up and hit the road, even when you’re flying solo.
The RearView Monitor with guiding lines helps you pick up a trailer, while the available Intelligent Around View® Monitor takes that capability to new heights, making the task of hooking up the trailer even more streamlined.
The available integrated trailer brake controller is found in the center dash. Adjust or activate the trailer brakes for directional stability.
It’s good to know what this truck is capable of, too. The TITAN offers the following towing capacities1:
- Crew Cab: Up to 9,380 lbs.
- King Cab®: Up to 9,450 lbs.
- Single Cab: Up to 9,660 lbs.
Nissan TITAN Amenities
We know you have people to see and places to go. With Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® coming standard, you’ll have quick access to smartphone capabilities right on the 7-inch touchscreen. Choose a new song that will be the soundtrack for your next drive, or respond to a text message and toggle through screens with the steering wheel controls.
You never have to get into a hot truck ever again, either. The available Remote Engine Start System with Intelligent Climate Control is able to adjust the temperature and cool things down before you get in. On those cold days, warm air will be filtered in, windows will be defrosted, and the available heated steering wheel can be turned on.
