Nissan, Lucasfilm Join Forces to Launch Star Wars: The Last Jedi

By ccamara | Posted in Star Wars on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at 10:36 PM

Nissan-Star-WarsNissan is partnering with Lucasfilm and other top brands to support the December 15 premier of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, following on Nissan’s successful venture with the filmmaker last year. This time around, Nissan has planned a promotional campaign that will highlight Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies.

Last year, Nissan launched the award-winning “Battle Test: A Nissan 360-degree Virtual Reality Experience,” in collaboration with Lucasfilm. Nissan released the very popular Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition SUV. This upgraded Rogue came with a limited edition helmet like those worn by elite stormtroopers in the film. That SUV went over so well last year that many car enthusiasts are hoping for another new vehicle to celebrate the renewal of the partnership. In fact, Nissan is offering its exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi vehicle customizer. One sweepstakes winner will take home a personally customized vehicle. Read the rest of this entry »

Oil Changes: Should I Go to My Nissan Dealer?

By ccamara | Posted in Service on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at 3:23 PM

Changing a car’s oil is relatively simple, so would it be cheaper and easier to go to a quick-stop place near my house or should I go to my Speedcraft Nissan dealer in West Warwick?

Consider this before you make a decision:

  • Factory-certified parts – Speedcraft Nissan uses only genuine Nissan OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, the same parts your car was built with, not aftermarket replacements. The parts conform to a standard of quality and engineering that only the manufacturer can authorize.
  • Training – Speedcraft Nissan technicians are trained and certified by Nissan.
  • Knowledge – Speedcraft Nissan mechanics work on Nissans all day, every day and are more likely to understand what’s under the hood than mechanics working on every make and model on the road. They know your car better than anyone.
  • Customer Service Standards – Nissan service departments are required to measure up to corporate standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Coupons – Speedcraft offers dozens of deals on its services, so quick-change companies cannot even compete on price.
  • Convenience – No appointment is needed for oil changes and you’ll be in and out in under an hour. And it’s not just for oil changes. Check out these services offered by our Express Service If you’d rather schedule an appointment, you can do so online. Conveniently located off Exit 8 on Route 95, near Providence, Speedcraft Nissan is the place to go if you’re looking for a high quality oil change with high quality service.

Nissan Attracts Millennials to Titan

By ccamara | Posted in Millennials, Titan on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at 10:14 AM

Titan Popular With Under 35, Generation X

Nissan is America’s fastest-growing auto brand and Millennials are a big part of the reason why. Last year, 30% of Nissan buyers were Millennials, and Nissan’s Titan is a popular choice.

Titan has a higher share of buyers under age 35 than the two best-selling nameplates, according to retail sales information from Strategic Vision. In addition, both Titan half-ton and Titan XD owners have median ages three to four years younger than the industry average. The Titan, and its standard 390-horsepower, 5.6-liter V8 engine and 5-year/100,000-mile warranty, is also a hit with Generation X, who are in the neighborhood of 50 years old. That demographic shows sales of 10 percentage points above the average in the segment. Read the rest of this entry »
